Duties and Expectations

Assist and supervise with personal care including, but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers getting in or out of bed using a lift, medication management.

Plan and assist clients with recreational activities such as puzzles, arts and crafts or community activities.

Transport, using our wheelchair adapted-van, and accompany clients to scheduled medical and dental appointments.

Transport wheelchair client when needed.

Keep homecare records of doctor appointments, medication, etc.

Monitor and report any changes in client health status. Ensure highest client safety and well-being.

Maintain open communication between clients and staff regarding the clients’ medical and emotional condition.
Hours and Schedule

We will work with you to make a schedule that works for our clients and yourself. Pay rate is currently $16.00 an hour with overtime after 9 hours in a single day

STUDENTS: We encourage students on our staff and will gladly work with you to schedule around your classes semester to semester, including working finals or clinicals with advanced notice.
Requirements

Must have a valid Drivers License free of restrictions that would limit your ability to drive clients to and from appointments and engagements.

Must be willing to obtain a CPR certification provided by TASLS if not already certified

Must be willing to follow Covid-19 protocols to protect clients safety and well-being
